The influencer marketing for event promo: how to run a campaign with influencers and not screw it up

The advertising campaign with influencers is an effective way to attract people to your event. They can just not pay attention to the classic banner or contextual advertising, but the recommendation of their friends they’ll notice for sure. People follow the advice of influencers. Thanks to the cooperation with them, you can get a good result without spending a lot of time and money. Just follow a few important rules.

Prepare in advance

Do you want more people to know about your event? You should launch your campaign at least a month before the event. Don’t forget that the number of posts preferably should be dosed. If they appear in one day, it’ll look strange and won’t give you the expected result. Start with a few publications in a week, then increase the number to 1–2 a day. Do you want many influencers respond to the campaign, and their posts will be detailed and thoughtful? Just a link on the website doesn’t enough — provide more detailed information. Briefly tell the most important data: where, what, how and why. In this way you not only attract influencers for collaboration, they’ll most likely visit the event and even invite friends.

Less control

There is no need to ask a preliminary check of the text or to impose your formulation. Each influencer has his own style of writing posts. They know how to tell about your event so that post won’t look like advertising. Thanks to the creative approach, influencers will be able to convey information about your event an unusual and interesting way. You shouldn’t impose templates, let them do the work in which they are good.

Be active

Communicate with influencers, track posts about your event, comment on them. If you see questions from the audience under the post, don’t forget to answer them.
